An activity was done by Class V students in the science period. They were given a task to make a model of volcano on the summer holidays. On 10th July'19, the working of volcano (eruption of lava) was showed by the science teachers to the students. They were enthusiastic about the concept. Activity : Making the volcano erupt Things needed : 1. A model of volcano 2. Vinegar 3. Liquid soap 4. Sodium Bicarbonate Method : 1. Add red food colouring to the vinegar. This makes your lova red, like the real red hot lava in a volcano. 2. Using the funnel half fill the bottle with sodium bicarbonate.Then stand the bottle upright in the middle of the dish. 3. Quickly pour some red vinegar into the bottle and watch the volcano erupt
