The students of Ursuline Convent Sr. Secondary School, Greater Noida participated in the workshop "Sally Ride" held at DPS, Greater Noida on 11-07-2023. The organisation SPACE INDIA in association with NASA gave the opportunity to students to select special latitude and longitude and forward it to the International Space Station astronauts to record pictures. Those pictures are far better than Google Maps. This was followed by a Query session wherein all the students were given the opportunity to ask curious questions related to astronomy. After this, they were shown a real-life telescope and a prototype of a real comet. The students also launched a rocket based on the hydraulic principle. It was indeed an enriching experience for our students.
